Caerthe's Guilds

Please call the contact person listed before going to any guild meeting. Sometimes changes are made to meeting times or places and are not able to be publicized.

Embroidery Guild: The Golden Rickshaw, AKA the Caerthe Embroidery Guild meets the second Tuesday of the month at 7pm, unless otherwise noted location varies. Contact: THL Ailinn Shadowfox: 303-452-0717 We teach and welcome any skill level. December 2009 will be held on the 15th of the month. Meeting place: 11622 Gilpin St. Northglenn, CO 80233

We had one new embroiderer attend the August meeting. Welcome Kyra. Everyone else has been too busy elsewhere to make it to the meeting. The September meeting will be moved to the third Friday of the month due to the Labor Day holiday and the Canton of Hawk's Hollow moving their populace meeting to the second Friday as a result of the holiday. Please plan on attending. We are perilously in danger of going inactive due to lack of interest.

The September Embroidery Guild meeting will be held on Friday, September 18th at 7 PM at my house: 11622 Gilpin St. Northglenn, CO 80233. All skill levels are welcome. Please come and help decide the future of the Embroidery Guild. Call 303-452-0717 for directions or more information.

Cooks Guild: The Caerthen Cooks' Guild information is regularly updated on their web site.
Caerthen Scribes Guild: Meets the first Thursday of the month 7:00-9:00pm at Lady Otama's home in odd months (Jan, March, May, etc) and at Lady Fiona's home even months (Feb, April, June, etc). Who to contact for more information: Lady Fiona or call 303-910-4296, and onsecond Mondays of the month at Baroness Mary's home. For more information email: excellencies@caerthe-sca.org
Caer GalenDanse Guild (not a Caerthen Guild but Caerthens are very active here and practices are very close to our border) -- We study, teach, and dance Medieval and Renaissance dances using various period sources, modern translations, and dance-masters. Garb in encouraged. We meet on the 1st Sunday of the month at 6pm. The Guild Leaders are Rois inghean Ui Nioclas (Roismaire) and Friedrich Wilhelmssohn at roseofamber@gmail.com.

Brewer's Guild: The first Sunday of every month (unless otherwise noted due to an event) beginning at noon, at the home of Lady Stasia.
Leatherworker's Guild: Leatherwork's guild is active, though not having formal meetings during the summer months. Forrester has opened his shops (leather, wood, metal) every Monday and Tuesday, if people call in advance, and bring thier own supplies. To attendm contact: THL Angus Montgomery the Forrester if you wish to attend.
