Armory & Badges
of the Cantons and Colleges of Caerthe

The following are the armory and badges registered to the Cantons and Colleges of the Barony of Caerthe. Each piece of armory lists the specific people that may use them. Please keep in mind that while arms are generally displayed on escutcheons (shield shapes) and the badges here are mostly on roundels (circles) armory and badges may be displayed on any shape.

The armory here has been divided into several sections for ease of reference.

The armory has been ordered by Canton and College based on the date of the group's formation.


Armory of the Canton of Hawk's Hollow

The Canton of Hawk's Hollow was the first Canton within the Barony of Caerthe and was formed in 1987. The Canton comprises the Northern reaches of Caerthe, and includes Northglenn, Thornton, Commerce City, Arvada, and portions of Westminster, Colorado.

Hawk's Hollow's Arms
Blazon: Gules, a hawk stooping, wings addorsed, and on a chief engrailed Or, three laurel wreaths vert.
Use: These are the arms of the Canton. ******Only the Coronet or a herald acting on their behalf may wear these arms.***** These arms may be displayed at events by the general populace providing they are displayed in public areas only. e.g. a populace member may place a banner with these arms near the tourny field if the Baroness is on site, but cannot place the banner near their own personal tent.

Hawk's Hollow Ensign/Populace Badge
Blazon: Or, on a pile issuant from dexter gules, a hawk stooping, wings addorsed, Or.
Use: This ensign of the Canton of Hawks Hollow may be used by any member of the Canton. This can be displayed on banners, surcoats, shields, pennons, etc.

Armory of Canton of Readstan

The Canton of Readstan was the second Canton within the Barony of Caerthe and was formed in 2007. The Canton comprises the South Western reaches of Caerthe, and includes the South West Denver Metro Area including Castle Rock, Highlands Ranch, Littleton, Englewood, etc.

Blazon: Gules, a gryphon segreant argent, in base a laurel wreath Or.
Use: These are the arms of the Canton. ******Only the Coronet or a herald acting on their behalf may wear these arms.***** These arms may be displayed at events by the general populace providing they are displayed in public areas only. e.g. a populace member may place a banner with these arms near the tourny field if the Baroness is on site, but cannot place the banner near their own personal tent.

 


Armory of the Canton of Ravenhyrst

The Canton of Ravenhysrt was the third Canton within the Barony of Caerthe and was formed in 2008. The Canton comprises the South Eastern reaches of Caerthe, and includes the South East Denver Metro Area including Parker, and Aurora.

Armory of the College of Scola Metallorum

The College of Scola Metallorum was the first college within the Barony of Caerthe and was formed in 1999. The College is based in Golden, colorado on the Campus of the Colorado School of Mines.

Blazon: Azure, a donkey rampant contourny argent within a laurel wreath Or.

Armory of the College of Three Spires

The College of Three Spires was the second college within the Barony of Caerthe and was formed in 2006. The College is based in Denver, colorado on the Auraria Campus and comprises University of Colorado at Denver, Metro State College, and the Community College of Denver.
